Green Bay is a small community which sits between Titirangi to the West and 
Blockhouse Bay to the East.  It is a coastal suburb that faces the Manukau
Harbour to the South.  Green Bay has a population of just over 4000 people, 
many of whom have been residing here since it was urbanised in the 1960s 
from farmland.  The suburb has a small shopping district located on its main 
road - Godley Road.  The suburb also consists of two retirement villages and 
Titirangi Golf Course.  Education facilities include Green Bay Primary School 
established in 1960 and the addition of the Intermediate around the 1990s.  
Green Bay High School was established in 1972.
